The route lead you through the quarter Müstert, where it includes a visit to the Allerheiligenkapelle, the sarcophagi and the famous Diatret Glass, though the wine growing spot "Piesporter Goldtröpfchen" up to the roman wine pressing facility. Here, you can taste Roman mulsum as well as Roman bread and wine leaves.
The route continues through the wine growing spots "Falkenberg" and "Günterslay" where the respective wines can be tasted. After a final rest in the "Michelskirch", you are guided back to town.

River enjoyment

You wander through the vineyard "Piesporter Treppchen", then we continue uphill over a vineyard path with impressive views, located here, on the old Roman road from Bingen to Trier, until Zimmern. Even Ausonius, a well-known poet, who was on the way to Trier to the imperial court in 365 CE, fell in love with these sights. Through shady forest paths and rocky vineyards, the route continues on past saints' houses, plant worlds and shy animals, and often, you are granted views on the extensive and inspiring Moselle loops.

You will learn at every turn during this walking tour, how this landscape full of highlights was formed and how it is maintained today by the winegrowers with lots of passion, using traditional and new knowledge.
